What’s better than playing games with friends? Playing games with friends and saving lives at the same time! 2016 will be our fourth year hosting Extra Life, a 24-hour gaming event to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Last year we raised over $1100 to help pay for life-saving treatment for terminally ill children. Come join us this year to help us raise even more!
How it works
We’ll be playing games for 24 hours at our dojo beginning at 8:00 AM on Saturday, November 5th. Come out and join us for any or all of that time! That’s right – you don’t have to stay 24 hours. Come and play for as much as you like. But we’re not just playing games – we’re also raising money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals provide life saving treatment for terminally ill children who otherwise can’t afford to pay. Your donations literally save the lives of children. All of the money – 100% – goes straight to the hospitals. Madison Martial Arts Academy doesn’t keep any, and the Extra Life organization doesn’t keep any either. We’re funding the events through our own resources.
We’re asking for a minimum $15 donation from everybody who comes to play with us. But honestly, we’d prefer it if you’d join our team and get your friends and family to sponsor you!
Can’t make it out to play with us this year? Find one of our team members and sponsor them!

Last year we raised over $1000 and had a fantastic time doing it! This year, with your help, we’re hoping to do even better. Check out the report than WHNT 19 did on us in 2014, or this awesome article in the Madison County Record!
